In active and sportswear, discounts have gone up, in most cases modestly, but we also see corresponding increases in sold out product rates. With a dotted line to health and wellness, as well as an inherently functional quality, most active and sportswear categories are still relevant to consumers even in uncertain times.
While sweatpants have benefited from consumer search interest during quarantine, most other categories have had peaks and valleys corresponding to the severity of their outbreak. Now it’s time to look forward and consider which product categories and qualities are next for consumers navigating home and work life, both indoors and out.
